September Printable Challenge

Each month, our Country Corner Newsletter features a free printable designed with one of our exclusive paper collections. This month, we're highlighting Adventures in Magic—the perfect theme for the season! Alongside the free printable, we’re hosting a fun challenge where you have the chance to win an exciting prize! Read on to see how we used the printable and find out how you can join the challenge.

SEPTEMBER PRINTABLE

The Adventures in Magic printable includes two pages of individual elements and two pages of 3 x 4 journal cards that perfectly complement the original paper collection.

I fussy cut the individual elements to decorate the cover of my interactive mini album. Mixing the printable with patterned paper from the collection added that extra magical touch!

The journal cards are incredibly versatile. You can tuck them into mini albums, use them as covers for photo booklets, or even as standalone decorative elements. Here are two ways I used them in my mini album:

1. Flip-Down Photo Spot

  • I cut a piece of black Artisan cardstock to 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" and scored it on the long side at 1/2" to create a hinge.
  • Then, I glued one of the 3 x 4 journal cards on top, leaving a 1/8" border all around. I added adhesive to the 1/2" hinge and attached it to one of my pages, creating a flip-down photo spot. I did this for all four of the "houses" journal cards.

2. Banner Waterfall

This was such a fun way to use the journal cards!

  • Supplies:
      • 3 1/4" x 12" black Artisan cardstock
      • 1 1/8" x 7" black Artisan cardstock
      • (4) 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" black Artisan cardstock
      • Banner Journal Cards

To see how I decorated the cover and created the waterfall, check out my Interactive Mini Album 2.0 playlist. Part 1 covers the album cover, and Part 3 (coming soon) shares the waterfall tutorial.

The best thing about printables is that you can use them over and over again! I can’t wait to see how you bring this month’s printable to life.
